Russian MPs are proposing a formal behaviour and dress code for schools across the country that aims to ban sexually provocative clothing. VoR's Tim Ecott spoke to our political commentator Dmitry Babich in Moscow, to find out why this is thought necessary. According to Izvestianewspaper - two committees from the State Duma are devising the dress code which would outlaw short skirts and low-slung tops. There have already been several bills tabled on the reintroduction of school uniforms - which were abolished in 1992 - following a series of disputes over the wearing of religious symbols in schools and universities.
