British doctors older cancer patients

Prejudice against older people by doctors, nurses and other clinical staff is preventing them getting the right cancer treatement, according to a new survey of medical staff. Research commissioned by Macmillan Cancer Support shows that 48% of such staff stereotypes and assumptions about older people is resulting in some not getting the best treatment. VoR's Tim Ecott disucssed this with Laura Keely, Campaigns Manager at Macmillan.
