Ratmansky's Cinderella comes to Edinburgh

Cinderella is a much-loved story ballet known to dance fans the world over. The Mariinsky Theatre is bringing the ballet, with its beautiful score by Sergei Prokofiev, to the Edinburgh festival from 30 August to 1 September.

The production is by renowned choreographer Alexei Ratmansky. This is the first time that Ratmansky's Cinderella has been brought to the UK, and British audiences are very excited at the prospect. Alice Lagnado talked to Emilia Ferraz Spitz and Linda Uruchurtu of The Ballet Bag about it.
